Ok…so here I sit in Geneva….pondering the sunny day outside while I sit inside. I am here for work, and unfortunately the work is today separated by long spans of wait, so the day is creeping along. To kill time I am trying to decide what to have for dinner. Very important. Do I go for the traditional Swiss cheesy meal(both literally and figuratively), or something more ‘French’?
I started long ago in San Diego, stopped in Orléans, Boulder, Paris, Austin, Göttingen….and finally landed in London! Along the way I was an English Teacher, Biochemist, Project Manager, Publications Planner and now work in PR! I am really passionate about good food and good ingredients. I especially love helping children discover how fun and rewarding it is to cook, and understand where all their ingredients come from. The illustrations with my cooking with kids posts are by my longtime friend Katherine, you can see more of her work here: http://www.coroflot.com/katherineataylor I've just moved to France and am 'rehabilitating' an 18th century farmhouse with the aim to open up a holiday location (BnB and gite) and cooking school, so I better start working on my rusty French!
